KRUPALAYA CHARITABLE TRUST is a registered Non-Governmental Organization, (NGO) started in the year 2005, under the Indian Trust Act 1882, in Villupuram District, for the upliftment of women and children, poor and marginalized. We have undertaken various activities, such as awareness and empowerment programme for women and children, conducting life oriented certificate skill training, ( Computer, tailoring and embroidery, napkins, candle making etc….)

We have been giving skill training programme to youth in Villupuram district. We give trainings such as tailoring, computer, electrician, mobile phone servicing also life skill training, soft skills training etc.
We take care of 200 HIV infected children from Villupuram district. These children are supported with health, educational, social and livelihood assistance.
We take care of disabled children at our centre we provide them with needed physiotherapy and speech therapy assistance and also teach them the basic learning and make them efficient to perform their day to day activities on their own.
We provide “free of cost “tailoring and computer training to the people at Vazhuthareddy village. This certificate course is wholly for the livelihood purpose of the people. Through these trainings 100 members and above have been trained by qualified trainers.
We have provided goats for the 10 widows and 15 disabled and HIV infected people’s families. This is for the livelihood of the families through the young ones it yields.
Net working with other NGO in agricultural based work, (Empowering women’s Agribusiness for Covid -19 Recovery) 80 women.
We support 150 special needs children through this project. We give them home based care based on children needs. Such as physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy etc.
We also provide evening tuition support for the children in our working areas.
We are working in 7 blocks and 1 municipality. There are 8 staff who are supporting all the activities of Krupalaya.
The Kasturba Gandhi BalikaVidyalaya or KGBV is a residential girls’ secondary school run by the Government of India for the weaker sections in India. It is an integrated programme of the central and the state government, the SarvaShikshaAbhiyan (SSA) program, to provide educational facilities for girls belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, minority communities and families below the poverty line in Educationally Backward Blocks. Further many children of KGBV are continuing their college studies and few of them have successfully completed under graduate degrees in the field of engineering, nursing, agriculture, arts and science. The past outs are now teachers, nurses, accountants etc.
This organization is branched out to other district namely Thiruvannamalai, Koangipalayam, Nagapattinam and Namakkal. All the places women and children are given priorities.
We have LWS scheme, (working for female sex workers, men having sex with men, transgender, migrants, and drug addicts) and also courses on computer and tailoring.
Old age home for the elders and orphan Children home for the children. These children are been educated in the nearby government school. We have around 65 senior citizens and 25 children who are also HIV and cancer infected and effected children.
The tailoring training programme is been functioning at Erukkur branch of Krupalaya Trust. The young women are trained for this skill training. There are two center's in each center 30 women are being trained for this program. This programme has helped them much and earns a living out of it.
In Namakkal district at Pudupalayam we have implemented life coping skills for women and young girls on 3 months certificate course on tailoring and computer. We are sure many women and young girls will benefit by our service in this place, who can stand on their own feet by generating income.
